Knit Wine Rack

Caroline (Callie) Barrentine

Materials: laser kerf-cut steel

While abstracting the shape of knit stitches, Callie developed a kerf pattern from interlocking stitches.  She applied this to metal to bend the it into larger “stitches” to create an elegant wine rack.  Because of the bending patter, this piece can ship flat to easily be bent into shape by the consumer.
