Materials: paper with sewn Temari patterns
After learning the art of Temari, Gracce wanted to make this beautiful but difficult craft accessible to novices. Traditionally, the maker puts a small note or wish on a piece of paper rolled into the center of the ball, a quality that drove Grace’s decision to apply Temari to greeting cards. By creating “connect-the-dots” stitching instructions, she was able to make the patterns much easier to make.
